AI Phone Receptionist Terms of Service

These terms are between your business and Leave the Phone to Us ("we," "us"). By signing up, you agree to them.

The service

We build and run an AI phone receptionist for your business. It answers your calls, answers common questions, takes messages, can book appointments on some plans, and sends you call notes. Our team sets it up and makes changes for you. There is no dashboard to log into.

Free trial

You get a 14-day free trial from the day you sign up. Your first monthly payment comes after the 14 days.

Billing and canceling

• Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. No contracts.
• Nothing is charged during the 14-day free trial. On monthly plans, if you do not cancel within 14 days, on day 15 you are charged two separate things: (1) the one-time $297 setup fee, and (2) your first monthly plan payment. After that, only your monthly plan renews each month.
• Setup is free for founding members and with 6-month or yearly prepay.
• Extra minutes are 20¢ each.
• Cancel anytime by email or text to our team. Your service runs until the end of the month you paid for.
• All payments are non-refundable. See "No refunds" below.

No refunds

We do not give refunds. Your 14-day free trial is the time to decide. If you do not cancel before your trial ends, the setup fee and all monthly charges are non-refundable. This includes partial months.

You can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Your service keeps running until the end of the month you paid for.

Sometimes, at our sole choice, we may offer a one-time account credit, for example toward an upgrade or extra-minute charges. Credits are never cash refunds and are not guaranteed.

Changes are included

Small changes are free on every plan. Just text or email our team. Bigger new features get a price first, so there are no surprises.

Your part

• Give us correct info about your business so your receptionist says the right things.
• Turn on call forwarding from your phone line. We show you how.
• Use the service lawfully.
• Follow any call-recording notice laws that apply where you and your callers are. You are responsible for this.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for spam, robocalls, scams, harassment, or anything illegal. We may pause service if it is misused.

Text messages

By opting in you agree to receive call alerts and account messages from Leave the Phone to Us. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy.

No guarantees

We work hard to answer every call well. But AI can make mistakes, and phone and internet services can go down. The service is provided "as is," without promises that it will always be perfect or never miss a call.

Limit on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost business, lost profits, or other indirect losses. Our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.

Ending service

You can cancel anytime. We can end service if these terms are broken, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. You won't be charged after service ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be emailed to clients.
